Others

Aragorn/Eowyn and Grima/Eowyn:The main "threat" to the Faramir/Eowyn relationship is, really, the Aragorn/Eowyn relationship, and to a far lesser extent, the Grima/Eowyn relationship. I go more indepth on these relationships here; therefore, I will not discuss them here.

Legolas/Eowyn: A popular paring that arose recently after The Two Towers was released. I think this is more based on "Legolas is pretty, Eowyn is pretty, let's pair 'em up!" than anything else. They really don't have any significant interaction in the book or the movie; while the idea is interesting, it doesn't have mucn merit on itself.

Arwen/Eowyn: I have read some amazing Arwen/Eowyn fiction; however, based on the novels and even based on the films, the paring doesn't really stand. We never get to see them interact, or even meet. By the time they both meet, they are both happily married and/or engaged as well; seeing as how Arwen and Eowyn are both women of honor, it's unlikely they would have an affiar. It's an interesting idea, but in the end, that's all it is.

Boromir/Eowyn: This is actually a popular paring, and why, I can't really say. I don't think they've ever met, and even then, there is almost a twenty-year age difference between them. I think he would essentially suffer from the same problem that Aragorn did; seeing Eowyn as child, as someone who still had much growing up to do.

Aragorn/Faramir: A popular slash paring, and I can see it; there is some subtext, depending on how you interpret it, so it makes more sense, than, say, Aragorn/Legolas. However, there is once again the fact that both are men of honor and would not cheat on their wives; therefore, anything happening would be unlikely.

Boromir/Faramir: A bit of a Flowers in the Attic thing going on here, though this is quite a popular slash paring. The simple fact of the matter is that they're siblings, and in Gondorian society, they were not raised to even think about looking at one another that way. It couldn't happen.
